At first the obstacles seemed overwhelming. With some practice, I developed some strategies that have helped me reduce my waste and my carbon footprint. It took about four to six months to get the routine down, but I went from not being sure how to get started in my new environment to establishing some easy, simple behaviors that help me live greener on campus. They also help me save a lot of money…a big win for any college student.
